Sorry i haven't posted for so long. My sc cell group is going to be fasting and i'm going to do the partial fast where i only drink water from after breakfast til around dinner time. The fast starts tomorrow and lasts til National Day.
I hope that through this fasting i'll be able to improve my relationship with God and grow spiritually and be more selfless. For any enquiries about this, just tag. (:
Science test tomorrow! Remember to study the first 20 elements of the periodic table and changes caused by heat, light and electricity. Good luck everyone! (:

Yay!!! I did that entirely from memory!!

I'm back!!! I'm back!!! I'm back!!! :D
I'm not surprised if only Charmaine and Kristen jie missed me. I was only away for 4 days, no one probably noticed. Nono, i'm not being emo.
Kuantan is nice :D I like the beaches and SHOPPING. :D
Day 1
Plan to wake up at 6.
Wake up at 8.
Long drive to Kuantan. Along the way, find out that father didn't bring enough RM. Change a bit of money at petrol station. Eat simple and sadly, not very tasty fishball kuey tiao soup.
Arrive at very nice Hyatt hotel. Check in etc. By this time its around 7pm.
Go down to restaurant for dinner with Stephanie and family, and Aunty Sharon and family (they shall be referred to as SF).
Talk talk talk. Go to beach and little kids throw sand at us.
Go to room and watch strange movie about a girl and a boy who exchange bodies, then the movie Sunshine about the a mission to save our dying sun.
Sleep.
Day 2
Eat breakfast.
Swim in saltwater pool with SF. Alessandra throws chewing gum (that she found in the pool) to me. It lands in my hair. Stephanie and i try to get it out, obviously doesn't work too well.
We go swim at the beach and look for shells.
We eat lunch at pool bar. I had a club sandwich.
We went to another beach 1 hour away. We almost got lost.
This beach had clearer water and lots and lots of hermit crabs. We made a big hole in the sand and went around collecting the hermit crabs like this- walk into the shallow water and scan the sand for a cluster of little black things, stick your hand into the sand and filter out the hermit crabs, quickly put them into a cup. After less than 1 minute of doing this, we could fill a whole cup with hermit crabs. There must have been more than 200 hermit crabs caught. But not to worry, none were harmed and we didn't bring any back with us.
I'm proud to say, i saved a pregnant hermit crab. The poor hermit crab was shell-less and had little eggs stuck to her. I put her in a big clam shell and filled it with seawater. Then i went to hunt for some empty shells. I put them in the clam shell to let her chose a shell. After a few tries, the pregnant hermit crab finally decided on a shell and went in. I released her back into the sea. It was interesting to see a "naked" hermit crab.
I know i'm boring you with all this poo.
Day 3
SHOPPING!!!
We went to Berjaya Megamall and East Coast Mall.
Berjaya Megamall has a lot of nice little shops. We saw and accesories shop, FOS (factory outlet store), Popular, a sushi place, a store with little keychains and pouches, Parkson. I got 4 tops and a necklace (that i'm sharing with Nat) at FOS. Bought The Love Academy by Benjamin Jones from Popular. blablablablabla.
East Coast Mall is much newer. They had FOS, Vern's (where i got a pair of black ballet flats), a donut place, Laksa Shack (apparently they have wonderful laksa), Pizza Hut, Living Cabin (its a bit like minitoons or precious thots), Crocs, Mango outlet store, Parkson, Carrefour etc. My mom and i realised that the stuff that they sell in Malaysia are kind of Malaysian-looking, as in they seem to look more... Malaysian. Even the clothes at the Mango outlet store looked Malaysian.
By the way, Parkson is something like Robinsons. Oh, and i finally got a smaller sleeping bag.
Day 4
Drive home. Ate at Marrybrown which is a fast food place. Its like KFC, Macdonalds and Burger King all mixed together. I had fried chicken. I love the place. :D They have swings as seats (they have normal seats too). The swings are like, hung from the ceiling. They're the wooden bench type of swings. Nat was swinging so hard (and in circles) that the swing kept hitting the wall.
Wait at the causeway was long again. Played some fun word games in the car blablabla.
Went to visit Kristen jie. (:
I'm too lazy to post pictures now. Another time.
Bye!
*hugs*

Well, i'm leaving for Malaysia tomorrow. Please pray that we'll be safe. I'm kind of afraid of going there because there are Malaysians who aren't too happy about the petrol prices rising and think that Singaporeans are the cause so... yeah. =/
I'll have lots of photos to show you all when i come back. I'll probably be doing some swimming there. As for my stitches, i'm going to wear a waterproof plaster and a waterproof film dressing on top of that. Double protection! haha (:
I'm going to sleep now. See you when i come back!
Farewell for now! (: *hugs*

My dad bought The Blue Planet BBC DVD seiries. One of the four CDs talks about the damage caused by fishing.
I never realised that fishing could cause so much damage to the environment. One of the horrifying methods of catching ornamental fish from coral reefs is by squirting the poison cyanide into crevices where the fish hide. When the fish go into these crevices, the cyanide deprives them of oxygen so they go out of hiding and into the open. Out in the open, the fishermen can easily catch these fish. They're quickly transported and bought by a store who, knowing that the fish are poisoned, still sell them to the clueless customers. A few weeks later, the fish die and the customers have absolutely no idea why. Soon, the coral reefs that the fish were caught from die from cyanide posisoning as well. I've suddenly decided not to get a fish tank anymore.
Now with so much pressure on fishing in shallow waters, fishermen are moving on to deep-sea fishing. They use trawling nets with huge steel balls and drag them along the sea bed. Many deep-sea animals as well as coral are killed. In one case, a 700-year-old coral was killed by a trawling net. 700 years down the drain, just to provide humans with fish to eat. An increasing number of juvenile fish who haven't had a chance to reproduce yet are being sold at markets. If it continues on like this, where is the next generation of fish going to come from? Hundreds of species still haven't been discovered in the deep. These undiscovered species could potentially have cures to diseases like cancer. But if fishermen continue to destroy the deep sea, many incredible creatures may become extinct before we've even discorvered them. A group of marine biologists have already tested some chemicals released by certain deep-sea sponges for cancer cures, they've had good results so far.
Please watch The Blue Planet on Wednesday night 10pm, Arts Central.

I've finally managed to change my blogskin! Lots and lots of thanks to Vera for her advice. It worked!
Thank you so much Vera!!! *hugs*
I got a mole removed today. The doctor was really nice, she kept me calm and reassured me throughout the less-than-15-minute procedure. I was given some numbing cream to numb the area, then an injection to dumb the deeper tissues. The mole was removed with something that resembled an oddly-shaped cookie cutter. It looks like a round cookie cutter, but the circle is much much smaller and the body is elongated. I got 3 stitches with blue string. With the numbing cream and injection, i didn't feel much pain- just a teeeeeeeny weeeeeeeeny bit. But because i was thinking about holidays (as the doctor advised), i hardly felt any pain at all. The stitches hurt a tiny bit now because of their, um, strategic location where i keep moving whenever i slouch or sit up straight.
12 days til stitch-removal!
And 3 days til Malaysia!
I know you'll all miss me :D (or at least i hope you will :D)
*hugs*
p.s. like my new blogskin? :D

I tried to change my blogsking last night, but i kept getting these XML error messages that wouldn't allow me to change my blogskin. :( Help anyone? *hopeful look*
-XML error message: The element type "body" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".
-XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.
I found this website: http://www.w3schools.com/XML/xml_elements.asp it talks about XML elements. But i still can't really understand it. :(

Guides camp was really good. Thanks to everyone who helped organise it and stuff. On the first day, i accidentally dropped my torchlight on my foot and now i have a nice t-shaped wound. It rained halfway through our outdoor cooking. But i must say, cleaning the chicken was... strange.
I just finished reading 2 books- The Essential Teenage Handbook by Christian TT Chua and Missmatch by Erynn Mangum. The first book was kinda boring- like a textbook. But because its written by a Singaporean, its more relevant than those written by Americans or something. The tips inside are good though. The second book however, was wonderful. I love her style of writing and incorporation of Christianity into the book. Its kind of chic lit (as Avery says), but its good chic lit! I'm definitely going to get the sequels to Missmatch- Rematch and Matchpoint.
Nat is learning an S-Club 7 song for Kids Performing- she's skipped a class and is now in Jazz 3. The songs are somewhat nostalgic, they're the songs we used to love in primary school, like Reach, Bring it All Back, Never Had a Dream Come True etc. They make me suddenly feel old.
Tuition teacher's coming soon. Bye!

Hey. I'll post about the extremely fun monday when i get back from guides camp. (:
Meanwhile, i'll do something shorter. The quiz!
Just so you know, Kristen jie tagged me to do this quiz, so i'm obliged. (and no, i haven't finished packing)
#1.If your lover betrayed you, what would your reaction be?
Confront him about it. Find out why he did it. Slap his face. Feel good about slapping his face. Realise that his face is grossly oily. Clean my hands. Stamp on his foot (hopefully i'll be wearing stilettos). Then break up with him.
#2.If you could have a dream come true, what would it be?
Suddenly appear in heaven with all my loved ones (refering to everyone i care about).
#3.Can you live without money?
I can live without money, literally. I'll get my $$ back eventually- from work, kind people, charities etc. But if i'm in heaven, i won't need money.
#4. Are you sure of your life goal?
Life goal- to live a happy and Godly life. And get married before i die. (hey, i just fixed the A key on my keyboard!)
#5.What's your ideal lover?
Someone who will accept the unperfect me for who i am. A Christian. Not fat (i know its like, judgemental, but i can't love a guy with so many fats. no offence to overweight people with great personalities!). Not work-obsessed. Preferably good-looking. Preferably with a stable family background (no gambling relatives or alcoholics etc.).
#6.Which is more blessed?Loving someone or being loved.
Both i think. Though being loved does feel kinda nice. Unless the person loving you is a pervert or someone you just don't want to be loved by.
#7.If the person you like does not accept you, would you continue to wait or change his/her feelings?
I'll probably move on with my life and find someone else to like. But, i'll keep an eye on him to see if he changes his mind.
#8.If you and your friend fall for the same person, what would you do?
Pray about it and ask the guy to choose.
#9.What do you wish to have but will never get it ever?
A biological older brother.
#10.What do you want most in life?
Happiness.
#11.Is being tagged fun?
It gives me something to write about. But being tagged too many times canget annoying.
#12.How do you see yourself in the future as well as career?
How do i see myself in the future? Simple, wait for the future to come, then look in the mirror.
#13.Who is currently the most important person to you?
Myself. Duh. Nah, i'm just kidding. Person- God. Human person- um... I'll let you know if i ever manage to decide.
#14.What kind of person do you think the person has tagged you is?
Kristen jie is a wonderful sister and neighbour and friend and senior and all the other things that she is. She's true to her friends and loves buttered movie popcorn with lots of butter. xP What can i say, she's good. <3
#15.Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
Single and rich if there's no guy who loves me and i love him. Married but poor if we love each other a lot.
#16.What is the first thing you do every morning?
Sleep. Morning starts at 12am. I'm still asleep at 12am.
#17.Would you give it all in a relationship.
Who's it? And what's all?

The one who loves me back or the guy who would make a better husband or whoever God tells me to choose.
#19.What kinds of friends do you like?
Nice friends? Friends who can make me laugh, who i can share my troubles with, who i like being around.
#20.If you played a prank on someone, and he or she fell for it,what would you do?
Laugh. Duh. If the victim laughs too, i'll just keep laughing. If the victim isn't positive, i'll quickly apologise and hopefully regain trust.
Yups. That's it. Now i shall tag more people!
And the lucky winners are...
-Avery
-Hannah
-Megan
-Alison
-Thea
-Ann
-Natalie (my sis)
-Timothy
-Max
-Shaun
I picked you all because i couldn't think of anyone else who actually looked at my blog and i can't tag people like Kris and Charm cos they're already tagged. So yeah. =D Have fun!
*hugs*

A lizard jumped on me on saturday night. I was trying to take a packet of pork floss out off the cupboard when this thing jumped onto me. I was like, "mommy, i think a lizard just jumped on me." i just froze on the spot, holding my tshirt in hopes that the lizard won't go... you know, somewhere. The lizard suddenly appeared- on the outer layer of my fbt shorts. I was sqealing like a pig- actually, it was more like a... um, scared human? and my mom and sis were kind of screaming and i was like, "get it off me! get it off me!" cos i didn't know how to get it off me. It scampered down to just above my knee and i shook it off.
Right now i'm so traumatised that i'm using tongs to get stuff from the cupboard. And mommy bought lizard traps- you know those sticky things with bait in the middle so the lizard [and whatever other unfortunate creature(s) that touches it] gets stuck.
Just came back from Shaw Centre. I went to watch Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull with my grandparents, Parents, Meiyin and sis. The cinema was freezing. Some parts were kinda gross (to kris: as usual). They landed on this ants nest with these fat, inch-long killer ants. The bad guy kept squishing them (lots of dramatic goo-squirting). And some bad guys got eaten alive. They accidentally fell onto the sea of ants and were completely convered by them and then taken back to the nest. One was especially gross because the guy was screaming and they went into his mouth.
One more thing- I still haven't done any homework.
